Lesson Plan Overview and Examples
During Week 3’s class, we discussed the lesson plan assignment in more detail and looked at some examples.
- There’s no one way to create a lesson plan.
- Typically, they include a statement of objectives, context or background information, and a modular breakdown of the tasks done in class with estimated time for each.
- Since this lesson plan is focused on technology use in one or two classes, you’ll want to frame it around how to use technology to accomplish your educational goals.
Examples:
- Writing Computer Code (no times)
- Providing Instructional Feedback on Article Use (includes times)
- How to Write Agenda and Meeting Minutes (includes times)
- Function and Its Application in Bio Math (includes pre-class activities and times)
- Jason’s Teaching HTML Basics (includes times)
- Shack’s Library Services Activity (includes times)
